International Student Survey 2014 (SUSISS)

To better represent the interests of international students at Stockholm University it is important to hear from them regarding issues they face both in their lives in Sweden and when studying at Stockholm University (SU).

The international division at the Stockholm University Student Union (SUS) is charged with representing student interests within the university, providing social activities and events to promote Swedish culture, and allowing students the opportunity to become active within the university in order to influence the course of their education.

One way to better represent international students is to hear about the issues that concern and matter most to them. However, because it is impossible to meet with each international student individually, SUS is launching the SUSISS 2014 online questionnaire later this month to gather opinions and feedback from international students regarding some of the key topics surrounding the international student experience. These topics include issues that arise as the result of adjusting to life in a new country and matters more directly related to education.

The goal of this survey is to provide international students with an opportunity to shape the agenda and goals of the international unit within SUS by highlighting issues that impact the success and happiness of international students at SU the most. Also, the survey provides international students with an opportunity to tell their stories or to offer possible solutions to issues that they have encountered.

To best represent the international student body at SU it is important to raise the voices of international students. Your feedback is an essential element to making the study experience at Stockholm University even better. Take part in the survey and tell us what challenges you have faced and what we can do to help.
