Students For Palestine (SFP)

Students for Palestine Stockholm’s purpose is to provide an information outlet to the students interested in the news and events in Palestine and to promote a healthy and constructive debate on the situation in Palestine.

Our organisation aims to achieve those goals by:

  1. creating space for an academic approach to the Israel-Palestine conflict. This will be realised by holding seminars, presentations, and panel discussions.
  2. inspiring the local student community through highlighting the work of non-violent actors in Palestine, and elsewhere, that are involved with working towards achieving a just and peaceful solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict, and for Palestinian human rights. This will be realised by holding seminars, presentations, and panel discussions.
  3. promoting the role played by alternative media such as documentaries and print journalism. This will be realised through screening independent documentaries and inviting authors and journalists relevant to the Israel-Palestine conflict.
  4. providing an opportunity for democratic discussion and expression.

Students for Palestine, Stockholm operates under the Stockholm University Student Union and is aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students at Stockholm University and surrounding educational institutions in the Stockholm area. Students for Palestine, Stockholm has no external political or religious affiliations. Everyone is welcome to join us.
